Singapore and it’s getting hot

Arrived in Singapore about 5 in the afternoon after a delay of one hour. Caught the train from Changi to our hotel and then went to Lau Pa Sat in the city for chicken satay and chilli stingray for dinner. Walked the full length of Orchard Road and stopped at Raffles Hotel for a picture. Walked around the river at Boat Quay, and then went back to the hotel.

Flight for Bali leaves early in the morning.

Here I am sitting around the pool having breakfast. The ‘hill’ has remnants of fog but not enough to stop the sun penatrating and warming my back. Saturday morning breaky…. Bacon eggs tomato beans and mushrooms. Can’t get better than that! I look forward to hearing what you two had for breakfast this morning? Noodles sitting under a palm tree? It’s okay. I’m just exercising my right to be just a tad jealous ! Looking forward to your next instalment JoHan!

Hi Mark. Currently we are staying at Langkawi Island, Malaysia. Have stayed at KL, then drove to Cameron Highlands, then to Georgetown, now on the Island. Hotel is called Casa Del Mar, great spot right on the beach. Unfortunately flogging with rain today.
    Happy touring.

Hi Simon. We will be in Penang in a week. We were there about 4 weeks ago and stayed at Bayview on Batu Feringgi. Hope you have a good trip.

Hey Mark, understand that Singapore has changed a bit since 2004! More architectural monstrosities and now suffering from the Sumatra fires. Don’t forget the face masks.
