Hi Leone and Chris, how about your folks coming down to Melbourne so we can compare our weather.
Having said that, I much prefer to be freezing cold than stingy hot and humid even though I spent
more than half my life there. Mark love the heat and don’t mind the humidity…….just imagine that
he still wears his long explorer socks and long pants there!

Cheers and hope to see your here soon.

      Hi Pik Wan,
Actually planned to spend 4 days in Melbourne in mid July but then LeOne went and scored a 4 month contract. Will have to wait until spring time I am afraid. We’ll keep an eye on things via this blog.

Melaka, many memories of weekends away from Singapore, enjoying the nonya food. A great combination of Malay, Chinese, Portugese and Dutch influences all rolled into one mixed up town. The changes since we were last here in 2002 must be immense. Look forward to your thoughts!

Fabulous place. Town done up and is a real tourism draw these days. Some beautiful colonial hotels and a really good atmosphere.
