The sprawling Lubuklinggau Market wraps itself around the rail station. Lubuklinggau is the railhead of the Southern Sumateran rail line that connects Bandar Lampung, Palembang, Prabumulih and Lubuk Longgau

The busy port of Bakauheni is the main link between Indonesia’s most populous islands… Java and Sumatera. The ferry trip takes 3 hours. A bridge connecting the two islands is under construction.
Arrived at Prabumulih around 5am on the overnight train from Bandar Lumpung and waited 6 hours for the connecting train to Lumbuklinggau.

Enjoy the Bali break, the mainly Hindu island of the archipelago. Unlike the rest of Indonesia where Islam is prevalent. Leone and I did not think too much of Kuta and the area, but loved Ubud and the inland part of Bali.
