- Krabi. Recovered from the tsunami of 2009
- Krabi, southern Thailand
- Thai music from the schoolkids at the street market in Krabi. Pay particular attention to the kid on bongos in the top right corner. I’m sure I saw him with Carlos Santana at Woodstock in 1969, a good year for rock concerts, and a good year for walking on the moon.
- Street theatre, Krabi
- Hmmm! This could present a small dilemma!!!
- The majestic view from the Majestic Grand Hotel
- Thai’s love their elephants. Elephant statues in all the towns.
- One of the busiestrivers in Bangkok… in fact the openly river in Bangkok. Bustling with traders, tourists, taxis and …. um …. tadpoles?
- The ubiquitous Tuk Tuk. Charing across town, dodging the trappic.
- Soi 2 in Sukhumvit
- Soi 2 in Sukhumvit. A bit of an eye opener for my travelling companion.

- Wat Pho ? Oh, That Pho.
- Wat Pho.
- Wat Pho, and the house that contains the biggest reclining Buddha in all……… somewhere. I did join a tour group, but the guide was speaking Cantonese
- Big Reclining Buddha, the second most popular tourist destination in BKK. Surprised???? I was.
- Can anyone tell us why the Thais depict the Buddha as a female image, similar to many Hindu Gods, whilst the Chinese depict The Buddha as a male image. A free Mars Bar to the best answer.

How I wish I was in Bangkok with you guys now! Uncle Mark , is the floating market on the list of places to visit while in Bangkok?? That is one place I wish to see and experience one day. Any chance you guys can take a boat and come have dinner with me here in London??? Or perhaps Bangkok to Seoul, thats my next trip!
Floating markets are really now just tourist markets… not like they used to be when it was a local produce market.
How lucky you guys are!! One step closer to stepping foot in to Abu Dhabi dooooooo!!!
